Location
All sessions will be held in the K-State Student Union on the Kansas State University Campus in Manhattan, Kansas.
Registration Information
The registration fee of $70 includes: conference materials, refreshment breaks, Lunch ( May 24, 2006 only), reception (cash bar), parking permit if requested, and conference proceedings. The registration deadline is May 12, 2006. After the deadline, late registration will be available at a rate of $100. You may register at the late registration rate of $100 at the conference but lunch will be provided on a space available basis only to those who register on site. Registration confirmation will be sent via e-mail. Conference check-in will be located on the second floor of the K-State Student Union. Signs will be posted for your convenience.
Optional fees
Conference golf tournament $68.00 (includes a boxed lunch). Golf Tournament will be held at Colbert Hills, Manhattan, KS http://www.colberthills.com/
Cancellations/Refunds
The Division of Continuing Education may cancel or postpone any course or activity because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is canceled or postponed, the Division of Continuing Education will refund registration fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines or travel agencies. If you must cancel your registration, do so as soon as possible. Substitutions are encouraged. A full refund, minus a $30 processing fee, will be made if cancellation is received by the Division of Continuing Education by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2006. After that date refunds will not be granted. Refunds cannot be given in amounts less than $5.00. Special Assistance
Kansas State University is committed to making program activities accessible to all participants. If you have special requirements due to disabilities or dietary restrictions, indicate your needs on the registration form or contact the Division of Continuing Education Registrar at (785) 532-5566 at least three weeks before the start of the program. After this date, we will make every effort to provide assistance, but cannot guarantee that requested services will be available.

Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Ramada Plaza Hotel for conference participants at the special rate of $74 plus taxes. Please refer to the CHECK conference when making your reservation directly with the hotel at 785-539-7531 by April 22, 2006. After this date, reservations will be made on a space available basis only at the group rate.
Visitor Parking
Parking is limited on the K-State campus. The Ramada Plaza Hotel is located directly across the street from the campus. You may prefer to leave your car at the Ramada, and walk to the K-State Student Union. If you do wish to park your car on campus, mark the appropriate blank on your registration form and we will provide you a parking permit before you arrive for the conference. |
